“The most effective ministry is when our life is caught by others!”

BECOMING THE CHANGE MINISTRIES

Faced with increasingly complex and devastating issues within their churches, pastors are struggling to provide real hope, and freedom. After pouring themselves into ministry and implementing program after program, many find themselves discouraged, depleted, and even disconnected from their own lives and families.

This is where Keith Meyer found himself 20 years ago, and it started him on a journey into his own transformation.

Ironically, Keith found that as he allowed himself to be healed, shaped, and transformed—in ways he hadn’t realized he needed to be—the fire finally caught. He knew at last how to lead others into whole-life change, because he had gone there himself.

It turns out Keith had discovered what the world’s greatest leaders have been teaching for thousands of years: We must become the change we wish to see.

Keith founded Becoming the Change Ministries to bring the transformational truths he has learned to today’s Christian leaders.

THE TATTOO

The tattoo artwork on the home page of Keith’s site is modeled after an symbolic structure Roman Catholics have used for centuries, called the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Traditionally, the Sacred Heart includes a flaming heart, sometimes pierced by a sword and/or a crown of thorns, and often a cross as well. In various artistic usages, this symbol has stood for Jesus’ heart of love for us.

Keith says: “This symbol on my home page has become very personal to me in my own life—in fact it is tattooed onto my arm. I have added flames to represent the Holy Spirit’s fire in me, a cross to represent Jesus’ work and presence in me, and an infinity symbol to represent the Father’s undergirding being and unending love for me.

“The heart is my heart. The thorns are the pain that I have experienced in my life—pain from my own sin and flesh, pain from the fallen world systems and family/ancestral sin, and pain from the enemy’s attempts to rob, steal, and kill God’s life in me. But as I live in the Trinity and God in me, these pains are transformed and bind me closer to God.”

The tattoo rendition on this site was designed by Kyle VanVoorst. For a tattoo t-shirt, visit the store.
