Julie Steiskal, a friend and a colleague of Keith’s at Church of the Open Door, took the photos that are used on this site and in the photo gallery. Little did anyone know that within a few months of taking these pictures she would give her life trying to save a young camper from the sudden and swift current of a swollen river. Tragically, both Julie and the camper died. This song, written and performed by Joel Hanson, is about Julie and the courageous life she lived for Jesus.
